Biography

I am an independent researcher in philosophy and a chemistry student at Heidelberg University. My philosophical work is currently focused on metaphysics and action theory, with a particular emphasis on developing novel, empirically grounded approaches to both. Rather than building incrementally on established frameworks, my research originates independently. I develop core concepts in isolation to preserve their novelty, engaging with the surrounding academic debate only after the model is fully formed. Both the thought experiment of Kyklopoiesis and the action theory of Kerdotism were conceptualized in this way, originating as standalone ideas prior to entering the academic debate. Ultimately, my goal is to provide radically explicit theories in a field that all too often loses itself in the implicit. To that end, my future work will focus on the further development and expansion of Kerdotism.

Research Focus & Philosophy

My research focus is defined by what genuinely piques my interest. I see little point in committing to just one area of philosophy if I have the freedom to write and publish on ideas across different domains. The elephant in the room is, of course, my background in chemistry. But its certainly not a distraction, it provides me with an empirical grounding that directly feeds into my work in analytical philosophy. The resulting workload is enormous, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I genuinely enjoy every part of it. Looking back, finding myself published as a sole author this early into my career feels quite overwhelming at times, and it has given me an immense respect for the academic conversation I am fortunate to be part of. Nonetheless, I have no intention of stopping. If anything, I feel invigorated to keep pushing forward in both fields!
